Lowlights

Phil's not quite good enough tee shot at the 13th! Muir's flukey post-shank ferret at the 18th to give him a win by one shot!

Weather: Morning was threatening, but stayed dryish, with even a brief spell of sun.  Didn't last.  Came on to rain and it was very wet indeed.

Lowlights

Last year Juggy swept the board.  This year he made his mark again, but by treating his fellow Freens to another of his, now habitual, holes in one.  The man is a phenomenon.  How does he do it?

Weather:  It's fair to say that the morning was on the damp and windy side.  After a mizzly start the afternoon was beautiful.

Winners: Morning - DJR ; Afternoon - JM; Day - JM

Lowlights

Back to Main Page

Playing all 3 nines Very good food again, with a particularly fine and necessary lentil soup at lunchtime. First attendance at an outing by Bill Savage - a Stewarty from way back Continuing faith of some Freens in Jock's navigational ability. Obliging lady returning Erick's trousers to him in the evening. ????????????? Juggy's hole-in-one, obviously. ????? Disappointing that only 4 Freens made the morning round. Team talk given by Runce to DL (sic).

Highlights

Lowlights

At least three Freens encountering a speed trap on the A9 - some days/weeks of discomfort followed, but all is now well. - or so we are led to believe. The entire group having a farewell drink while seated above the 18th green, savouring the warm breeze that had troubled us all day.
