Here are the notes in all their original beer and sweat-stained glory. If anybody has half a life to spare to transcribe them and send the text to the Webmaster that would be greatly appreciated.

AGM Friday 17th January 1986
The 8th AGM took place at the Persevere and Mr Chan's Restaurant at 8 p.m. Full turnout including Mr. MacQueen on short time maternity leave. CD appointed chairman on an 8 - 2 vote – this proved to be disastrous - JR repeatedly made allegations of the Chair’s incompetence and the Minutes record the Chairman’s request of JR’s consistently ungentlemanly behaviour. Secretary then read out last year's Minutes; matters arising brought out the question of eagles. The pot stood at £60. It was confirmed that eagle money would remain separate from hole in one. Hole-in-one would remain at £5 per player. Secretary’s report of 1985 was then read to much amusement, particular reference should be made to Turnip Heads. Mains after a misinterpretation of the Formby outing regarding a jump lead problem. J.M. was uncontrollable in laughter, but soon settled down behind the corner post on spotting a private patient entering the pub.
Dr Rubik Rees then produced the 1985 statistics which was much appreciated by all - it was agreed that a box of chocolates be given to the lady at Balfour Beatty who did all the typing.
The result showed DK won 4 outings in1985 - a fine feat; 4 members didn't win any outings at all.
Gross stroke average 1) DL 77.32 2)AM 78.93
Net stroke average 1)SR 70, 2) DK 70.18
Prize winners
F.F. Trophy DK which was modestly received with a bottle of Sainsbury's champagne - a magnanimous gesture thoroughly enjoyed by all.
Winter trophy DK also won from CD in final 3 and 2. A special award to BM commemorating the lost 10p in the Formby clubhouse which was appropriately mounted was presented - no drink was forthcoming. CD then produced an interesting and amusing speech on the ’85 divot award.
