Arbroath

26th March

No idea, I'm afraid.

It was very wet and cold.  Missed my tea so don't know who won.  We sure as hell didn't sit down by the harbour eating our fish suppers as we did on our previous visit.

Not the nicest of days.  Very windy all day and was also wet to begin with.  Apple Sponge Trophy retained by DP with 35 Stableford points in morning round which was agreed would settle destination of trophy, but also won over the tiny field on the day.

Still to speak to Hon. Secretary.  There are definitely some pictures, and these will appear as soon as they are found, but no notes to hand.

Cally Palace

24th - 26th September

2010

Ladies on arrival were a bit on the sour side of grumpy. Having to pay for the extra 4 rolls. Unseemly club throwing (and club-kicking) by Eck at the quarry hole. Relatively poor attendance (9) a.m. and p.m. - deserved much better. Robin's carefully set up eagle chance spinning out on 18th p.m. Weather and extremely poor turn out of only 6 Freens and 2 guests and only 4 Freens played both rounds. Lunch was good and JD's Geordie guests, Peter Cameron and Alan Arkle, thought they had died and gone to heaven they were so impressed with the setup. Next Page
