Double eagles - Juggy & Jeff Arrival of "The Adjudicator" Excellent soup and sannies (plus muffins) for lunch and enormous high teas. Welcoming staff at outstanding course.  Great value. Bob's drive Greens disappointing, but per Psycho (N.B. Burgess member), "you can't really expect much better at this time of year" ???!!! Barney forgetting to tee off at a hole then getting a birdie Collin having a pint tipped over him None Pleasant surprise with two very enjoyable courses.  Montgomery in afternoon particularly good Hot food allowed on the patio DK's King Ferret at 11th Barney, after rant about lawbreakers and leniency of authorities, stopped by strong arm of the law while speeding through Guil(t)dtown. Airborne brollies on patio. Very enjoyable course - easy walking and interesting. Pleasant staff and decent lunch Very surly barman. Bacon rolls not appearing until 4th hole. Wet weather. Collapse of Zoom and Barney in negotiation with Barrhead Travel James Braid's last course. Another eagle from DL (2nd ball unfortunately) Novel move of Texas Scramble in afternoon Mobile bar sponsored by Theakstons 5th hole - here it is: —–––––––––––––––––––––––> Traffic delays on M8 on way down for some Freens Eagle from DL Turned out to be a lovely day - drinks at waterfront by some Freens Other Freens join Stranraer Supporters' Club 13th hole - here it is:: —–––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––> None Slow play by outing ahead of us and delay in their getting off Freens decidedly jaded Long drive home What was done to the fresh fish at Dunbar! Weather A disappointing close to the season.  Conditions were clearly so bad that it was decided to play Stableford.  Won by DP with 33 points ahead of Robin on 32 who edged out James Bond (Steve from Newcastle) on the better inward half. Clutch of Geordie visitors on way to Dental Dinner. Eagle by Erick at 9th Fresh fish at Dunbar! Next Page
